Our beloved bird passed away on August 12th, 2007
Buried under the weeping willow in our backyard because her death brought much weeping.
Her gravemarker reads "Here flies Rita - she now sings for Jesus"
She will be dearly missed.

Rita was cool...she never said words, but she sang a lot! She also learned to imitate the dogs whining to go out, and before we found out it was her we kept telling each other to let the dogs out.

I am so sorry Dana. Pets are such a huge part of our lives and it is so painful when we lose one. She be singing for the Lord now.
